This session is a Menu A course option for the WVCPD Teacher Academy and is open to all teachers. Teaching Diverse Learners is a session designed around Carol Ann Tomlinson’s book, Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom and Think Big, Smart Small by Gayle Gregory and Martha Kaufeldt which highlights the brain basics that affect your classroom the most— attention, memory, emotions, and stress. Discussion topics and strategies include differentiated instruction strategies and resources, accommodating the needs of all students, and pacing and planning tips. With a variety of simple brain-compatible strategies, you’ll see a measurable difference in your differentiated classrooms. Your space will not be guaranteed until payment for the session or purchase order number is received.
